How to attain eye contact ~ Kathie’s Golden Rule
Use Kathie’s Golden Rule instead of barking off commands such as, “Look at me,” and “Look at this.” By holding items up by the speaker’s face, the child will focus on the item, the speaker, and the message. Try it. You’ll like it.
Kathie’s Golden Rule should apply to children with ASD/autism, language disorders, articulation disorders, behavior disorders, pets, and husbands!
